Embrace Tradition and Style with Hei Tiki from Sisters Collective
Hei Tiki, for instance is one the most recognized amulets customized by the Maoris that symbolises strength, intelligence and safeguarding. Conventionally, sculpted in greenstone this cherished accessory originated in New Zealand and has gone through several cultural transitions to become one of the most sought after ornaments in the world. At Sisters Collective, you will find exquisite Hei Tiki pieces with homage paid to the origin and meaning of this cultural classic but a modern twist added.
Tumblr media
The Significance of Hei Tiki
In New Zealand the Maori people, the Hei Tiki neck pendant is not only an ornament but also an art object with immense importance from the spiritual point of view. The pendant was commonly used to be worn in hopeful situations as a charm and subsequently, it was supposed to possess persons’ mana – the utilizable, spiritual force. They are all different, all have their own unique characteristics and that is why the wearing of a Hei Tiki is very personal.
The design of the Hei Tiki has evolved over the years, but it retains its classic form: a superior being with big round staring eyes depicted in stone, bone or wood usually green stone. They are still with the above-said designs but in modern cut and made from modern material and thus is trendy piece of jewelery.
Why Choose Sisters Collective?
Here at Sisters Collective we strongly believe that history of Hei Tiki should not be forgotten and ignored. We showcase products which have undergone a true cultural and artistic transformation, while still being handmade. If it is a greenstone pendant in a more traditional style that you seek, or one that is more modern, we are sure to have something to please you.

An updated doll collection....
I am running out of room....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I swear I was only supposed to get just Abbey, then no more.... The g1 Monster High dolls I already had... well, five of them were mine originally, while the rest of g1 were from my sister's old collection (still regret not grabbing her oh Toralei, Spectra, Robecca, and Holt before she sold them... along with her old New Scaremester (I think) Jinafire and Catrine...).
Honestly, despite the fact that I have a lot more Monster High than anything, I think I actually prefer Bratz dolls? And I definitely need more of them. If only they weren't so fucking hard to find in New Zealand....
Also, why the fuck are the Rainbow High dolls so damn expensive here? Juniors are $70, then the others are like $85 to $120! Which is way too damn much. Thankfully I've gotten all mine on special though, but come on.... They don't need to cost that much!
And where the hell is the g3 MH Venus? She's turned up in NZ stores, but absolutely nothing in the stores near me.

#BACKGROUND
Izabella was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on december 23, 1998 to a korean family, having two older sisters, one of them being Rosé from the popular kpop girl group Blackpink. At the age of five years old Izabella and her family moved to Melbourne, Australia; there, she started taking different classes since early age: jiu jitsu (even participating in national competitions), aerial and contemporary dance, she learned how to play the drums, the piano and the guitar, and even joined the church choir along with her sister Rosé.
In 2011, at age of 13 and influenced by her dad’s words, she attended an audition in Sydney, Australia for South Korean record label SM Entertainment, ranking at the top three among 1000 participants, and just some months after that, her sister Rosé signed with YG. They both dropped out of school and moved to South Korea with their mom.
At first, she was happy with being signed only as an actress and having small roles to start with her career, but then she realized that acting wasn’t her passion, and after two years, she parted with SM on good terms.
Some months after that, she got scouted by an agent of Starship Entertainment. Izabella even trained with the (now) monsta x members and even got contemplated to join the survival show “no mercy,” but she didn’t end up joining. In the winter of 2015, Izabella opens a soundcloud account and starts releasing her own songs under the stage name of “cherry,” her popularity starting to grow, even getting considered as one of the best underground rappers back then. In 2016, she decides on parting with Starship too on good terms.
Trying to not give up even after the circumstances and after seeing her older sister’s success, she joins “unpretty rapstar” in 2016 under the stage name of ‘cherry’, making it into the finals and ranking at 3rd place. Izabella gained a lot of popularity due this survival, even getting calls from companies that were interested on signing her. It’s in october 2016 that an agent from KQ Entertainment reaches out to her, and after convincing her on giving the company a chance, she officially becomes a trainee at the beginnings of november 2016.
A year later, she joins another survival show: “show me the money,” being part of zico’s and dean’s team, making it into the finals and finishing on 3rd place.
On october 24, 2018, Izabella made her official debut with Ateez.

Note
I have never actually asked, but maybe you could share something about your original work? 👀 Not necessarily all the details, but a brief overview or your favourite part of it so far?
Oh. Oh what a can of worms you just opened lmao. Thank you my love, so very much, for asking.
Look gang, I’m writing a book series!
⚔️🌩️The Stormsinger Chronicles🌩️⚔️
Growing up, I always wanted to escape into fantasy novels. I wanted to be the knight, and the princess, and the dragon. But I wanted to read something that wasn’t Ye Olde Medieval England or Gritty America But With Magic. I wanted to find a place closer to home, you know?
Cue the Stormsinger Chronicles.
In a world where magic has been strictly prohibited, and the cycle of life and death has grown stagnant, two sisters must overcome a decade-long rift to set things to rights. If they don’t murder each other first. Which is hard to do when people can't die, but Kyrie and Petrah are nothing if not stubborn.
In short: it’s a longform, speculative fiction trilogy set in a landscape inspired by the people, flora, and fauna of New Zealand!
In (slightly less) short: its a queer fantasy novel, yo. Every one of these characters is a delightful mess. There is not one “chosen one” among them — it's just a bunch of gays, doing their best (struggling. failing. bickering. falling in love. punching each other in the face). The story hinges on the relationships between characters — familial, platonic, romantic, antagonistic — and through this, and the wider world, I’m writing with the aim that ANYONE can pick up this fantasy land and know that there is a place for them here. We can leave the straight, white, male heroes in the fantasy books of old. (Except for Callum, who I wrote to be a straight, white male hero on purpose to subvert everything that trope is hehe. He's very sweet.)
Here's some characters!
Kyrie: Grumpy, foul-mouthed OG Fuck Up. Probably covered in mud.
Petrah: Done with your shit, wants to read and drink tea.
Meredith: Looks sweet, will kill you. Social schemer.
Callum: Looks like he'll kill you, is very sweet (but can also kill you. He won't, but he can.)
Jin: Annoying people into doing crimes with you is flirting, right?
Zamir: That Classy Bitch, excellent eyebrows (with which to judge you)
Niamh: Possesses all the brain cells the rest collectively lack.
Alistair: Literally can't NOT insult you, really needs a nap. He's trying.
There’s roaming bands of nomads! (Un)Natural disasters! Elven politics! Murder plots! Undead! General fuckery! Found family! Gods who are very bad at their job! Runecrafting! Enemies to begrudging besties! Worldbuilding for days! Diverse characters! Yearning! Trauma! An uncharacteristic lack of exclamation marks!
Here's a (WIP) map! [Image Removed - see note!]
My favourite part is... all of it hehe. But currently, I’m enjoying sinking back into the landscapes of the various regions and the creatures we can find there. Did you know NZ used to have a predatory bird called a Haast Eagle? Which —with a wingspan of 2-3 metres and claws the size of a tiger’s— was the largest eagle in the world, ever?
…Guess what I’m foisting on my characters 😈
It’s so much fun to write a world where (lacking predatory mammals like wolves and bears, etc, like NZ’s landscape is) the dangers lurking in the wild come in the form of dread weta, giant spiders, horned barklizards, Haast eagles, and dragons that look remarkably like Tuatara.
Oh, and there's the three Harpy Dens. Yeah, they’ll fuckin’ kill ya too. If the Deathless don’t catch you first. Good luck!
⚔️🌩️⚔️🌩️⚔️🌩️⚔️🌩️⚔️🌩️⚔️
I’m gonna delete this in a hot second! Two reasons;
1) I’m sharing an image that includes inspiration art for characters that I intend to have my own art commissioned for — none of this art belongs to me, this is just a glimspe into behind the scenes vibes (and I had this screenshot on hand from when a friend asked about my character’s relationships)
2) On the map, any and all names in Te Reo Maori are placeholders, including (and especially) Ao Marama; when the manuscript is complete, I want to work with Tangata Whenua to have their input on choosing appropriate names for my towns and landmarks — I don’t have the whakapapa to speak to this myself, being Ngati Paheka, so it would be pretty tone-deaf of me do write without input from Maori voices. (Fortunately all five of my step-siblings are Maori, so they can be some of my first betas lol, but I’m still gonna reach out to like the Pacifica Students association at my uni and then onward form there to sensitivity readers and such)
Draft is at 120k and counting! If you've read this far, (why are you reading this far? i love you 😭😆) I'll leave you with the current opening line!
It was nearing dinnertime in Westwatch, and Kyrie was seriously contemplating shooting a man in the eye...

Meet Tia, the newly-crowned Mr Australasia Bear 2024
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/meet-tia-the-newly-crowned-mr-australasia-bear-2024/
Meet Tia, the newly-crowned Mr Australasia Bear 2024
Mr Bear NZ Tia has taken the title of Mr Australasia Bear at the annual competition on the weekend, but he isn’t stopping there when it comes to representing his communities.
Tia was the first indigenous Māori to enter the NZ competition, which he won. At the Southern Hibearnation festival hosted by VicBears in Melbourne this month, Tia’s now taken the Australasian title… so what exactly is left for Tia to do?
“I’m going to compete in Mr Bear International in Bangkok in 2025,” Tia announced on radio station JOY Breakfast days after his win.
“The Thai bear community messaged me not long after my New Zealand win and asked me to come and compete.”
“At the time I was attending a lot of Pride events and Graeme (Mr Australasia Bear 2024) reminded me to take some time for myself and enjoy my title year.”
What did it take to be the winner?
“I think Tia’s heart stood out amongst the other competitors in this past competition,” Mr Australasia Bear 2023 Graeme said.
“All the boys did an amazing job, but you could just tell by the way he carried himself through the week that his heart was shining in everything he did.”
Highlights of Tia in the competition included an amazing dance performance as part of his talent round, serving cowboy realness onstage, and just being his authentic self.
“I’ve been a part of the bear community for 12 years. When I finally made it to Southern Hibernation, I was like, gosh, why didn’t I come earlier?” Tia told us.
With eleven events over the week including the Mr Australasia Bear Competition, Southern Hibernation is a chance for the Australasia Bear communities to come together, party and celebrate.
“It’s so good to see all of Australia’s Bear community and New Zealand flying here into Melbourne just to all be together and celebrating being bears. It’s just so beautiful.”
Amidst the parties and competition, the week included social events such as Axe Throwing, a history walk and more to bring the community together.
@itstiabear♬ original sound – ItsTiaBear
But size isn’t everything…
Tia said, “I was actually very nervous about the week because I’d never been to Melbourne before, and I don’t know a lot of people here.
“Melbourne’s population is higher than what we have in New Zealand. Our Bear bird community is building and growing.
“I also having to carry that title to support and have my community back home in New Zealand was a huge thing.
“But having the support my community back home, and also supporting my culture as I am the first indigenous Māori to ever compete and win my competition was a big help.
Tia said he’s been a part of the New Zealand Bear community for 12 years.
“I joined them when I was 18 and I was still a twink at the time,” he laughed.
“But being able to be visible so that more of our POC community back home can feel comfortable coming into the Bear space is very important to me, because that’s where I found myself. That’s where I found my identity.
“Our diverse community is growing, with more POC and younger people community coming forward and jumping in, and I want to help them to do that.”
Congratulations on your win Tia, and who knows, maybe the next sash in your collection will be the World Bear Title in 2025…
You can follow Tia’s journey via his socials on TikTok or Instagram.

Various posters inside, items collected in different times. This box contains notes, posters, drafts, doodles, fonts, manuals, and other various ephemera I find interesting. These are temporary inspirations. Like collages I take ideas from these collections and compose them into something new
Grid System PDF
Grid systems written Josef Müller-Brockmann published in 1996. This copy was acquired through PDF. This book made me realize the importance of grids, though this was also the era of my rebellious design phase. This pdf represents both my allegiance and understanding of the rules my rebellion against It.
The Notebook.
Paper was first invented in China around 100 BC, an essential for making books and notebooks. These specific notebooks were bought from the local bookstore. Just like the pen I believe notebooks are another important for creatives. These specific notebooks contain character designs I have drawn pre-iPad.

Break SDL: 20 object Rationales
Over the break along with further research, I started to notice patterns in my first lot of 20 objects I had chosen and photographed. From there, I have begun to gather more and solidify a theme and direction.
20 Objects
Tumblr media
Above is an image of the objects laid out together and numbered. Nostalgia allows you to understand the journey of personal growth you have undertaken through the years. For me nostalgia provides insights into my identity, highlighting how my past experiences have influenced who I am today in many different aspects of my life but specifically who I am becoming as a creative.
A lot of my objects are things from my childhood and items that represent important and significant moments of my childhood and growing. These things all build and relate to who I am as a creative and the work I produce. The collection of objects theme and consistency may be unnoticeable to others but to me, it is pronounced that these things represent my personal growth.
Jewellery Box: This jewellery was gifted to me by my Nana and Grandad when I was four years old and just moved to Aotearoa from England. I wasn't old enough to care for a jewellery box but now it holds this new significance now, to it feels like this token of 'coming home' Although when I came to NZ it wasn't my 'home', this box now represents the beginning of the place that holds the most significant moments of my life.
Photo album: This is the biggest photo album I own, started by my parents and then continued on by me. While it represents and incases significant milestones in my life it was also the beginning of a creative spark. From as young as five there are little doodles filling the pages creating a very individual and unique book.
Cyanotype print: This is a print I made in my first year of university, it is a cyanotype print. This was my first time trying cyanotype and I was immediately drawn to the way the process was. Starting by painting a blank canvas and then creating pieces digitally and with nature to then be placed in the light. It almost felt magical to me. Through the first year of uni experimenting with so many different forms of design this really solidified my love for analogue processes.
Teddy bear: The teddy bear I received when I was first born, there isn't a deep and meaningful reason behind why my parents got me this, rather my Dad's work just gave it to him as a congratulation. But it became my favourite thing and ever since there it has been with me everywhere. Even now as a 19 year old it still sits perched on my desk. Teddy was once bright pink and fluffy when first received but now it is worn and faded. Teddy represents my growth, we both have grown and changed so much and Teddy represents that for me.
Journal: I use this journal not really as a way to record how my day was or my feelings with words, but rather using it as a creative outlet, I don't use a pencil or a rubber, I use pens and create doodles markings or any scribbles that come to mind. This is an important part of my design process I need to get all the ideas out no matter how silly or whether or not they make sense.
Coaster: This is a coaster from a pub in England - the first time we went back after moving to NZ. At the time I was 10 and my sisters and I decided to 'borrow' it and take home as a souvenir. Now it reminds me how although I don't consider England my 'home', home can be more than one place.
Pounds: Pounds are the currency of England, I chose these specific ones not to represent my birthplace but rather the significance of when it was given to me. When I went to England this year for the first time in nearly 10 years, we saw our dad's side of the family (who are Pakistani) for the first time in a very long time and celebrated Eid for the first time. It isn't something our dad has really shared with us growing up so being able to celebrate Eid and embrace this side of our heritage for the first time was very special. And this was the Eid money I was gifted.
Tiny home: Art is all around us and I think the beauty of op shopping is finding little treasures, I found this at an op shop and loved the physicality of the ceramic work, while it also has a purpose of being a container to hold anything in.
Postcards: These postcards I have taken back with me from England. I liked the way they were showcasing art rather than photography.
Easel: This baby easel was gifted to me by my sister, It is not something I really even intend on painting but her reasoning for it was 'it was just so you'. I have always considered myself a 'creative' in my own way, growing up I was always drawing, painting or creating something, whether it was good or not, it was just something I loved to do.
Flax flowers: These are fla flowers that I made with my Nana when I was younger, I am part Māori from my mum's side and while it is something I have always been proud of it is something I have felt disconnected from most of my life. Moments like this with my Nana have always been important. She taught me different weaving processes as she thought this was a way I could connect with the culture in a creative way.
CDs: These are the few CDs that I grew up listening to and that feels very personal and significant to me. Music helps me feel comforted and surrounded when isolated, it helps inspire my work and is something I always feel goes hand in hand with a creative process as it is always lingering in the background.
Seaglass: I have always loved looking for sea glass when going to beaches, I started a collection when I was younger, I was so drawn to them because of their softness and organicness, also their uniqueness each one was different, from their shape to colour and even to texture. I didn't know it at the time but it was the start of my love for physical forms of art, and how I as a creative am drawn to creating analogue work as opposed to very digital work.
Handmade mug: This is a handmade mug I bought years ago with my pocket money while in New Plymouth. I remember being given an allowance by my Aunty and Uncle and they were surprised that out of anything I could have chosen that was it. I just loved the way it felt so personal and unique and wouldn't look like all the other mugs in our draw at home, rather handmade and my own.
Beatles poster: This is a little Beatles poster that I found in the op shop, I always loved the Beatles as it is the kind of music I would listen to with my mum growing up. I think Music and artists always have the most creative and fascinating designs for album covers and it is the first thing I will always look at before the tracklist or anything else.
Knitted patch: Another product from an activity with my Nana, when I was younger and stayed with her we always found something creative to do. She taught me and my sisters how to knit. This was the first thing I ever made. I then fell in love with it, Although my range just consists of scarfs, I liked the idea of a physical outcome.
Notebook: This handmade notebook I bought in Raglan when on a camping trip with my best friend. I immediately loved the illustrations on it as hand-drawn illustrations are some of my favourite forms of art.
Washy tape: Washy tape is something that takes me back to intermediate, I used to use it to decorate all my school books, collecting many different sizes, colours and patterns and using them to create fun markings on my book.
Pens: These coloured pens that I feel like I have had forever have always been my go-to when starting to plan something or even just scribble something. Sketching something as boring as packaging for one of my other classes with a big colour pen makes something that isn't really considered fun feel easy careless and creative.
'A' book: This book is something that was gifted to me, it was from a small gift shop in Dublin and it is handmade. I have had it for years now and have never really drawn or added anything to it as I find the craftsmanship of the object itself so perfect and intriguing that I have never wanted to mark it. Handmade and analogue pieces of work are always something I find to be so much more valuable then anything else.

Concepts:
Now that I have begun refining my 20 objects I am starting the process of planning and ideating how my poster is going to be presented and in what format. We were given many examples such as mapping, publications, journaling and videos. Below are some of my initial ideating sketches.

The Timeless Appeal of HeiTiki: A Maori Treasure
This piece dubbed HeiTiki is indeed remarkable and has intrigued majority of people for centuries because of the unique design and has a lot of cultural values to the Maori people. Let's explore the key aspects of this beloved pendant:Let's explore the key aspects of this beloved pendant:
Tumblr media
1. Origins and Craftsmanship
-In the past the job was done with pounamu, a stone known as greenstone or New Zealand jade.
-Realm of the stylized figure with a tilting head and large eyes
-Madewith considerable skill and a good deal of religious feeling
2. Cultural Importance
-Customarily, the subject was considered to be possessed by the spirits of the dead.
-Used to shield the body and direct one’s movements, as well as to bring luck.
-Many of these lamps have been handed down from generation to generation, as precious family possessions.
3. Symbolism
-Symbolizes fertility and new birth
-Symbolises power and proximity to ancestry
-Still bears an association with the Maori traditions of New Zealand.
Thus our HeiTiki’s importance goes way beyond its previous role in the Maori communities. Today it is a symbol of culture and a fashionable item, that connects the ancient tradition and the present tendency. Some of the current artists have adopted the HeiTiki designs, but in their modern way of doing so that represents a new generation of the traditional Maori design.
Tumblr media
When tourists come to the New Zealand it is always exciting experience to be able to see the beautiful and history full HeiTiki. However, much care should be taken while handling the artifacts because they are sacred and their use revered. From looking at a centuries old HeiTiki piece in a museum, to a thinking of a HeiTiki piece as an ornament to wear, pause for a moment to respect the history and craftsmanship of these unique artefacts.

Two new Monster High dolls have made their way into my collection!
Tumblr media
Creepover Party Twyla, and core Ghoulia!
Had to buy these two off Amazon AU, because I doubt I'll ever see them in NZ stores anytime soon. Especially the Ghoulia. Twyla has shown up in NZ stores before, so there is the chance that she'll get restocked here, but I've already waited so long to find her. I've been after her for months!
Though, Twyla's hair is an absolute mess.... Tried to brush it a bit, and it just went completely frizzy! And I have no idea how to fix doll hair....
Very happy to finally have these two, especially Twyla, as I've been after her for months. Though, her hair is a mess! Tried to brush it a bit, and it just went completely frizzy! And I have no idea how to fix doll hair....
Now the G3 Monster High collection stands at 13!
Tumblr media
And I think no more until core Venus and Toralei make it to NZ stores. And the core Spectra and Catty.... And the Fearbook Twyla and that new Abbey that's coming out.... Although, I still want to grab the Fearidescent Cleo at some point, just to complete that set, because the Fearidescent dolls are gorgeous.
Love how after I got Abbey I said I wasn't going to by so many of these.... However, I think with the exception of Abbey and Twyla, and the Fearidescent dolls, I'll only be buying the core dolls of each, and that's it. And only of the characters I like. Don't really fancy getting any of the boy dolls, unless they make a G3 Invisibilly.
But they better make a G3 Rochelle, Robecca, and Operetta! Those are the three that I really want! Also, if they made more of the dolls have long pants, that would be great, too. They all have too short skirts and shorts, and I'm just not really into that. I think Ghoulia would've looked so much nicer with some long (maybe baggy), track pants.
Also.... there's not nearly enough characters with a green colour scheme. Which is why I'm very much looking forward to adding Venus to my collection once she's available in New Zealand stores!
Also, I'm a Monster High collector as you can tell, but I also got my first Bratz dolls in years. Think the last Bratz doll I got was in... 2006 or 2007.
Tumblr media
Couldn't resist getting the Always Bratz line. Really love the Cloe and Jade. And I'd say these will be the only Bratz dolls that I get, but there's a couple others that I've been looking at getting at some point.... And I still want to get the Rock Angelz line. That's the one line that my sister and I have always wanted, and I still very much want that line after all these years.
Just wish I knew what happened to all my old Bratz dolls.... Had three Genie Magic Yasmin, Jade, and Cloe (never did manage to find the Sasha in that line, or the other two characters in that line... or they were just too expensive at the time), and the Forever Diamond Sheridan. Plus, a fake Bratz doll that actually looked pretty decent. I would rather like to figure out where they all went, and possibly attempt to restore them. However, I do know that my old Yasmin is definitely broken, think her head fell off after a bit of her neck broke or something, but the others I'm not sure about. They may not be in the best condition wherever they are, and definitely missing all their accessories, but I don't think they had broke....

New Zealand Doom-Groove Crew INFINITY RITUAL Drop New Music Video
~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~
By Billy Goate
Tumblr media
Here's an act that'll really light your fire. Hailing from New Plymouth, New Zealand, this is INFINITY RITUAL, a band whose motto is "Doom, Groove, Volume." Dealing mean stoner riffs is the name of the game for their extended play debut -- four gritty, motoriffic tracks with an infectious charge full-steam ahead and take no prisoners along the way kind of vibe.
Today, we're revisiting the record, simply titled 'EP' (2022), with a fresh look at the third track, "Underneath." The band takes us to the damp, dark halls of prison for the music video, performing a song that's at least as dank as the concrete and steel bars that surround us.
"I see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's my father. He's smiling at me. I don't really understand....is this the end?" singer and guitarist Adam Colless wonders aloud. The band answers with a fury of complex rhythms and chunky slabs of riffage that had me thinking of Coal Chamber and Mudvayne at junctures. The song is one hell of a headbanger, releasing pent up angst and aggression within a framework of despair and metaphysical mystery.
Give ear...
WATCH & LISTEN: Infinity Ritual - "Underneath"
SOME BUZZ
Fans of heavy music have a new band to keep an eye on: Taranaki's Infinity Ritual. It's hard to pin down their sound exactly, but the band says they'd describe it as a groove metal wall of noise, with solid doses of rock, doom and stoner rock. And they already have their own beer.
Infinity Ritual released their debut self-titled EP in July, and – well-deserved, but much to their surprise – it reached No. 17 in the Top 40 Albums Chart and No. 5 in the NZ Albums Chart.
Drummer Mark Thomas told The Taranaki Daily News, “It was quite amazing to see us at number 5 on the New Zealand chart, but to be number 17 on the general top 40 was something I didn't expect.”
Mark Thomas may be familiar to music fans via his passion for vinyl He currently owns Vinyl Countdown in New Plymouth, and used to own Real Groovy Wellington. He has a long history with record stores, and calls record collecting "a really healthy addiction."
EP by Infinity Ritual
In other very cool news, Three Sisters Brewery has just released a beer named after the band, the Infinity Ritual Magic 8 West Coast IPA. They say, "To celebrate this collaboration with doom metal band Infinity Ritual we wanted to brew a beer that tasted like drinking a bitter pine tree. Mission accomplished, fuel for the mosh pit..."
Infinity Ritual has just completed a tour of the North Island, impressing people at each show. Muzic.net.nz's Kev Rowland caught their Auckland show at Ding Dong Lounge (17 December 2022) , saying, "This is a band I definitely want to see again, and anyone into this style of metal needs to seek them out."

hey! i'm the anon here, and i did manage to find what my beloved boy is! apparently he is a bunglie dog, rather than a mutt.
i managed to find a photo of a new version with some digging.
Tumblr media
here he is with the other jellycats i own (minus a tan and brown horse who did not come to university with me). Graham, named by my parents at the time, is very well loved and has traveled across the world several times. i also adore my fuddlewuddle dragon and my bashful bunny who were purchased early last year.
Tumblr media
hey Victor! lovely to see you back, and it's great to see you're going better than you were.
i was wondering if you had any experience with older jellycats - i'm hoping to figure out what the brown and cream dog i got when i was a little kid was; would've been purchased in late 2002, early 2003? i'd need a minute to snag a photo, but i thought i'd float the question in the meantime.
Hi! Sorry to get back to you only now, I'm still catching up on messages.
The Jellycat that comes to mind here would be the Squidgy Puppy from the very first collection Jellycat released since you purchased him only a few years after their launch as a company. It could possibly be a Bunglie Mutt or a Bashful Mutt, too, but those came out a little later. Below are pictures of all three. I hope you find a match with your childhood Jellycat dog!
